St Louis Arch, St. Louis, Missouri
The Saint Louis Arch is an architectural marvel that really blew our expectations. This iconic monument, also known as the Gateway Arch, proudly stands on the western bank of the Mississippi River in downtown St. Louis, Missouri.

Ascending to a staggering height of 630 feet, the arch symbolizes the city’s historical role as the “Gateway to the West.” Designed by the renowned architect Eero Saarinen, this elegant stainless steel structure is a testament to human ingenuity and engineering prowess.
As you approach the arch, its sheer magnitude takes your breath away. We walked along the riverside promenade, viewing it from a distance to see the giant structure. The curved shape, resembling a giant shimmering ribbon, seems to defy gravity, instilling a sense of awe and wonder.
Even though we did not climb to the top of the structure, we had a lovely time exploring the beautiful gardens surrounding it.
